Wood Wick Candle Care
-
Before lighting, ensure the wick is 1/8" in length above the surface of the wax.
-
Let candle burn long enough that the melted wax pool reaches all the way to the edges of the container (this may take a few hours).
-
If the wick does not stay lit, allow the melted wax to cool, than pinch off the charred portion of the wick (or use a wick trimmer or nail clipper).
-
Keep in mind, sometimes a wood wick will not be a raging flame, it may just be a small flame and that's okay!
