FAQ & Candle Care

Candle Care

Wood Wick Candle Care

  • Before lighting, ensure the wick is 1/8" in length above the surface of the wax.

  • Let candle burn long enough that the melted wax pool reaches all the way to the edges of the container (this may take a few hours).

  • If the wick does not stay lit, allow the melted wax to cool, than pinch off the charred portion of the wick (or use a wick trimmer or nail clipper).

  • Keep in mind, sometimes a wood wick will not be a raging flame, it may just be a small flame and that's okay!

Candle Care

  • Before lighting, ensure the wick is 1/4" in length above the surface of the wax.

  • Let candle burn long enough that the melted wax pool reaches all the way to the edges of the container (this may take a few hours).

  • "Mushrooming" may occur with your wick after each burn. To ensure the wax stays clean and soot free, trim the wick before each lighting.

  • Keep candle out of reach of children and pets, and away from any flammable material.
